A new book arrived this week – “International Construction Disputes – a Practicioner`s Guide”, edited by Dr Andreas ROQUETTE and Tom PRÖSTLER.

Together with Florian HAUGENEDER (Knoetzl, Vienna) and Emmanuel KAUFMAN (Wolf Theiss, Vienna) Dr. Michael WERKL co-authored the chapter on “Quantum.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the co-authors for their excellent cooperation and also to thank the editorial team for including our contribution in this high-calibre list of authors.

In terms of content, we were allowed to present in our chapter the legal basis for the determination of quantum in international disputes, the typical monetary claims and the procedural aspects to be considered in the determination of quantum. Finally, we present the evidentiary requirements that need to be taken into account.

Overall, the work represents a comprehensive reference guide for practicioners involved in international construction arbitration.
